Default Gravy

Hi,
I'm a newbie and am doing a gravy to go with my roast this evening. i love mild american mustard (the one that goes on hot dogs) and im thinking about throwing a couple of teaspoons in to my gravy mix and wondered if anyone has tried it before and if so what is it like or is it a big mistake??

Hello Biffpick,
welcome to the forums

American mild mustard takes very good with gravy. After you remove the gravy from heat, mix in your mustard a bit at a time until you like the taste. Season with some salt and pepper and you got yourself a distinct gravy.

What meat are you cooking with the gravy?

Good luck!
