Default Does anyone know a quick recipe for pork chops?

I went grocery shopping a while ago and got pork chops, chicken, and ground beef. My husband and I used the chicken and ground beef and now all that is left is the pack of 8 pork chops I bought and also the pack that my mother-in-law gave to us which is about 6 or 8 more. So, I have from 14 to 16 pork chops and I need to know some different ways to cook them. Thanks!

Minnesota Pork Chops

This is a very good recipe that serves 4.

INGREDIENTS
6 pork chops
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup uncooked wild rice
1 1/2 cups water
1 (8 ounce) can canned mushrooms
1 tablespoon chicken bouillon granules
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a skillet with a small amount of oil, brown the chops seasoned with salt and pepper. Spray a large 9x13 inch casserole dish with nonstick spray. Sprinkle the washed rice evenly in bottom of dish.
Add water and mushrooms. Sprinkle with chicken bullion. Arrange the chops on top and spoon soup over chops and rice. Cover casserole with aluminum foil and seal tightly. Bake for 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours or until rice and chops are tender

Here are a few of my favs:

In a large pan cook chops. Cook chops on both sides. When the chops are almost done add some sliced apples, and red bell peppers. Cook untill the apples and peppers are just heated thru, and the chops are fully cooked. Serve over rice.

This one sounds odd but is very yummy. Season your chops with salt and pepper on both side and then place in a baking dish. Top Each chop with 1 tablespoon ketchup, and 1 tablespoons brown sugar. Add a slice of onion and a slice of lemon. Bake at 350 for about 30 min or until done. It will make a little bit of sauce. I serve over rice with the sauce spooned over the chop.

If you have thin chops I have really been liking mine just doated in a flower mix of salt, pepper, chili powder, garlic salt, seasoned salt, onion powder, etc... what ever you like and then fried.

If you have thick chops use a paring knife to slice a pocket into the chop. Make a sweeping type motion without slicing all the way thru the end/edges of the chop. Stuff with your favorite stuffing homemade or storebought, with some corn added to it. Or if you like cranberry stuffing, apple stuffing etc... they would all be great. Brown on each side then nake until cooked thru. Serve with brown gravy or mushroom soup "gravy".

I just froze some chops on freezer baggies with b-b-q sauce, and itallian dressing. They marinte while they freeze and then while they thaw. Use your fav flavors even a dry seasoning, or other marinades.
