Crying over pork chops. What should I do?

When I was informed that my daddy is getting out of prison. (He was locked up about a year ago for poaching deer) I decided that me and Jack (my dog) would make him so pork chops. So we went down to the store and got some grocery's. When we were at the store I ran into my brothers mom's sister. Who is the mother of my niece Riley. Any ways she told me that she had seen my dad the day before at the bar. I was so upset I didn't know what to do. I have not seen my daddy in almost a year. Yet he did not call me when he got out. Supposedly he is staying at my sisters house and splitting her well fare check. I am so upset that he has not called me. What ever should I do.
