Default Polish food for reception?

I am getting married in May 2009. We want to have all polish food for our reception. Which is going to be in the late afternoon. 4 ish. I already plan on making Saurkraut/Pork and hot dogs. and Cucumbers in sour cream , But my question is, what other side dishes can i have with this? Something that is cheap to make , yet still tasty. We are on a small budget.

Halupki (pigs in the blanket) oh yeah, pigs in the blanket ARE NOT little hotdogs wrapped in ANYTHING, it is seasoned meat and rice wrapped in cabbage leaves w/ tomato sauce

Halushki - shredded cabbage fried in butter with homemade egg noodles and bacon

The best thing is that cabbage is very inexpensive, and if you know someone with a garden, you may be able to get it for free

do a search for authentic polish food

If you have the time make perogies! There's no in-season fruit (at least not in Ontarion) then to fill them, but you could freeze some now for next May.
And if possible you need cabbage rolls or even lazy man's cabbage rolls. Everyone loves them!
