McDonald's Apple Pie is Squash??

I heard that McDonald's apple pie is made with squash and not apples.. Because it is cheaper, yet tastes the same/like apples with the apple pie sauce. Does anyone know?

There are labels on the packages. Have you tried reading it? It should say. Or maybe on their website.
