why is organic food more $$ when no chemicals are used?

| The chemicals normally used are cheap and help produce bigger and better produce, or more milk from the cow or more eggs from a chicken, etc. When a product is made organically, the advantages of using chemicals are not there, other naturals products they might use as feed or fertilizers are more expensive and dont work as well, the producers would have to make up for the low production by having higher prices. |
