 Crock pot or Slow cooker? Whats the difference? Can I cook raw meat in it? I was reading a recipe for a slow cooker and it said to brown the meat first. I thought the whole point of a slow cooker was you could cook raw meat in it and just let it cook all day. I've never used either a crockpot or a slow cooker. When I bought my slow cooker it said not to cook raw meat in it. What the heck? Can you cook raw meat in a crockpot? Is that the difference?  |
