do indians really smell like their food?

i am an indian and its just about 50 days, i am here in usa. i have found many americans say that indian people smell like their food.
i tried to smell myself, but couldn't perceive anything.
if it is really so, i can't do anything about it unless i stop eating my food, which i can't do or i can just go back to india.


i am not talking about native americans, i am referring to indians from india, which is a country in asia.

give your honest opinion, all kinds of verbal bashings are welcome

FOB means fresh off the boat from India,i am an indian have been eating indian food my whole life,am in us since 5 yesrs +........don't smell like one reason.....perfume and u don't sweat so much here so u should be fine don't think u don't have to wash your clothes cause they are not dirty wash them once a week,use cologne.
Don't feel bad any new place u will go to u will feel like an outsider coz nobody likes change and for people here indian is different.
feel comfy with yourself u will be fine.
