Ham and sauerkraut recipe? Possibly German? HELP PLEASE!!! ?

| My mom makes these things we call buttons The recipe came from her Ex boyfriends mom who was German....I know its cubed ham I(we always used to left overs from baked ham) cooked in sauerkraut them put inside a noodle type dough...folded over and sealed them boiled and fried.....THEY ARE AWESOME! but my question is what are they really called? I want to research them on the internet and buttons I don't think is the technical term......thanks so much for your help~! |
