I want to make bbq spare ribs with just a bottle of bbq sauce. How long do I bake them for, covered or uncovered, and do I need to mix anything else with the bbq sauce or can I just coat them and bake them? Anyone have a good recipe or thoughts would be great.

Looking for dessert recipe for a potluck bbq for large crowd, anyone want to share?

I'm trying to rack my brain to figure out what kind of dessert to bring to a potluck bbq that I'm going to on Saturday 11/07. Unfortunately my brain isn't functioning so I figured I would ask you the good folks of Yahoo Answers.....do you have any dessert recipe that is not too complicated or time consuming that you would like to share. There will probably be 30+ people at this event (most will probably be drunk by the time I get there as I cannot arrive until about 1 hour after it starts).

Just hoping that one of you has a great dessert recipe that is not too time consuming (working that day going to my kids soccer game so not too much time to do anything, maybe the night before), too complicated, looks good, tastes good, etc.

If you do, please post your recipe if you are so incline to share. And if you have a pic of it that would be cool to see as well.

Thanks all!
Chef Renee: Thanks so much for the recipe for rescaling it! Sounds yummy!! I think I might give it a try! :o)
Dottie R: I don't think they expect me to feed 30 but then again, no one has posted what everyone is bringing (it's a facebook invite of old high school friends some people I have no idea who they are! lol) The apple crisps sounds good I've got plenty of granny smith apples to use up (was going to make an apple pie but had to find out how to keep them from browning if I cut them the night before). Do you happen to have an apple crisp recipe? I've eaten them but never made them. :o)
