No idea where you'd get it in the UK, but I'd look into a shop
specialising in barbecue equipment, if such exists there.

I recall a local butcher sadly now closed (damn superstores ) had a Steak
that I seem to remember was flavoured with the bark of the Hornbeam and was
called Hornbeamer Steak could this possibly be the one that you refer to ?

Dont quite know what happened there Corylaceae should have been in brackets
after Hornbeam as it is the Latin name for said tree
