Wedding Cake Smooshing Version 2?

My fiance has said a few times that he wants to smash cake in my face. I told him that I REALLY do NOT want him to do that and if he does, there will be consequences. He's not a mean guy at all but he's extremely fun loving and likes to do stuff like that. He's one of those types of people that are really easy going and I don't think he understands why something like that would upset anyone. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fun loving person too but I think this (tacky) tradition is rather unnecessary and I don't want to have sticky cake all over my face and for my dress to get stained. Even though I made it clear that I don't want him doing that, I'm afraid he might decide at the last minute to do it, especially if people are cheering him on because he's a spur of the moment type person. What can I do to ensure that he will not smash cake in my face?
