| Ingredients: A double Fudge Dark Duncan Hines cake mix(really tasty for a box cake) Homemade buttercream frosting ( We used real butter melted semi-sweet chocolate squares, vanilla, and sour cream for some thinning) I usually put a touch of brewed coffee in my frosting to take out some of the sweetness. 2 regular Butterfinger candy bars Edy's Butterfinger ice cream Directions: Make cake as directed in two round layer cake pans Frost only the top of the first layer Chop one Butterfinger and spread on top Put second layer on top of frosted, candy sprinkled first layer Repeat frosting and candy on the second layer. Again, remember to leave sides unfrosted The cake is really dark and the frosting shoud be a milk chocolate color. Pretty contrast. |
