Default Bread Storage

The Zipolocs are about the same size, when you consider that you need
to take up some of the KA bag length for sealing. I have a thing about
twist ties and the freezer, though and just prefer Ziplocs (Heftys,
actually) as I think they keep the odors of others things out more
securely. And I'd have to go buy some sort of twist ties or steal my
roll from the garden.

I am not paying a dollar a bag at BJs or I wouldn't be buying them. I
am too damn cheap for that. And I re-use them forever. After all,
they only get fresh bread, they go into the freezer, then the bread
comes out and more bread goes in. As long as the breads have nothing
greasy or gooey on them, they really last a long time. My 87 year old
father-in-law got me into the reuse of the bags some years ago.

There are 15 in a box, and it is a multi-box pack I buy. Can't recall
the price. Meijers sells them online, 108 of them (nine 12-bag packs)
for $34.97, but I haven't bought that many at a time. I will check
next time I go to BJs. It might be that the 15 count boxes I have are
not even made any more if Meijers has 12 count boxes. That is how long
ago I re-stocked. And I have enough to last a long, long time.

If there is anyway to adjust your Outlook settings, then, you should
try. You don't want to miss Janet's posts. She is terrific and very
helpful.

Default Ping: Janet Bostwick. Was: Bread Storage

Yes, from what I've seen of her posts where they are quoted I completely
agree. Unfortunately I've discovered who the other person is who uses
'[Only registered users can see links. ]' as a return address and I'd really rather not remove
them from my killfile as it is a particularly obnoxious person who gets me
riled up. Not good for someone with an anxiety disorder.

I suppose that it's rather an imposition to ask Janet to change her
return-to address, even by a letter or two... She should see it as a
compliment, I *really* want to read her posts. I've changed the subject to
ping her. However, if she answers with her current return-to I'll not see
it. :-(

<waves> Hi Janet!

Shaun, you can adjust the rule to apply only to the other newsgroups and
skip this one. Dunno how many others you have.

Oh well, I couldn't specify which group the filter was for so have just
unblocked [Only registered users can see links. ]. It's amazing how many people in my killfile
have similar return-to addys (mostly really nasty anti-semetics who invaded
a gaming group I read and post to). I saw [Only registered users can see links. ],
[Only registered users can see links. ]lid as well as lots of combos using noone and nobody with
nospam.

Hopefully the clown I originally killfiled has moved onto another nym by
now, I seem to remember that he was a nymshifter.
