Supersized biscuits?

| Hello folks! I have a question about biscuit recipes and hope you can answer. I am looking to make supersized biscuits, about 3 1/2 to 4 inches in diameter, and wonder can I use any biscuit recipe? I ask only because I am worried that at such a diameter the middle of the biscuits may not bakek fully before the edges are overbaked. Any comments on this? Also, I would gladly take suggestions for a simple, easy (and as mess free as possible) biscuit recipe. I am using them for a breakfast sandwich recipe so something firm enough to hold together in sandwich form is a must! Thank you! Brian |
