Default Is yeast always necessary for baking breads?

Like Pizza doughs, or regular breads? Is it possible to make a great tasting bread w/o using yeast?

Yes, But for the bread it will take along time to rise, the yeast makes it rise faster, and gives it a nice taste if the right amount has been added.

You can leaven with eggs (steam bubble), baking soda, baking powder, air (egg white foam), bacteria (in a variant of salt breads with Clostridium bacterium).

I find when I don't use yeast my bread doesn't taste as nice... Stick with yeast!
