Newb Breadmaker Q Hello!
I'm new, and to celebrate my newness I'm going to ask a potentionally stupid question. YAY!
I searched the forums and found that selfraising flour can be used in "quick loaf" breads in a bread-maker.
Is Quick loaf the same as rapid bake??
I have a rapid bake option on my breadmaker.
If this is indeed the case, do I use the still use the same amount of flour as per my Bake Rapid recipe?
If the recipe calls for 4 cups of bakers flour do I use 4 cups of self raising, and omit the yeast?
I'm sorry these questions are so newb, we've only had out breadmaker for 2 weeks and I've run out of breadflour and wont get some till next week.
