What shame that he bombed it. I would have gladly donated that POS
grill and kept the bees.

I felt the same way (not about keeping the bees, though!). Honeybee
populations are declining and we need all the hives we can get.

True. Modernistic art, at that! I think some architects would be proud

Ditto. I felt bad seeing the aftermath of the bug bombing. It was a
shame about the bees, and a shame about the contaminated wax and honey,
too. What a waste.

Everybody has 20/20 hindsight, but I bet if the guy had peeked under the
cover and seen the extent of what was there he might have decided
differently.

There are several folks locally who keep bees, and if I saw something
like that, I'd probably have given one of them a call and asked them to
come out and offer an expert opinion. I'd probably have given them the
hive, grill and all, just to get it off my porch. I've got kids and dogs...

Depending on where you live you have to be real careful of bees. The
Africanized ones will swarm you at the least provocation. If your not
running for your life after disturbing a nest then they are safe.

Pity, that was probably some real good honey in there and relocating the
hive would have been simple.

They aren't agressive unless you mess with the nest or step on them. Bees
get a bad rap, they are actually pretty gentle unless they are forced to
defend themselves.

Around here if you have an unwanted hive, beekeepers will come out and get
them. I don't know how they do it, but they do.

Killing honeybees is just butt stupid ingorant. Somebody should stuff that
jerk inside his grill and bug bomb *him*.
