Kentucky Style BBQ. Sauces? Sides?

Hey all,

I have a dear friend from Kentucky coming for a visit and we will be
having a little BBQ in his honor.

Wanted to include a little local flavor in the mix and wanted to see
what ideas you folks might have.

I have some recipes for Kentucky Black sauces somewhere in my
archives, but wanted to hear of any other ideas/recipes for sauces or
sides I could try.
